Mr. Benke and Mrs. Vensko recently taught a kinesthetic math lesson together to
third graders on fractions. The focus of the math lesson was identifying
fractions on a number line which can be a very challenging concept for students
to grasp. The third graders made a human number line with their bodies to
explore thirds, fourths/quarters, and fifths. The lesson was enjoyed by all.
