Six West Greene students were selected to participate in the annual Greene County Band and Choir Festival held at Waynesburg Central High School. The two-day festival was held on March 5th and 6th and featured students from all five districts in Greene County. Students in the choir were under the direction of Dr. Yugo Ikach, director of choral activities at California University of Pennsylvania. Students in the band were under the direction of Dr. Frank Stetar, director of bands at California University of Pennsylvania. The two days of intensive rehearsal culminated in a concert that featured works like You’ll Be Back from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton and American Elegy by Frank Ticheli.
