West Greene Class of 2022 held the second annual "West Greene Has Talent" show on April 12. Participation was open to all West Greene students in grades K-12. There were three age divisions for the talent show: Youth Division, grades K-4; Junior Division, grades 5-8; Senior Division, grades 9-12.
There was a first and second place winner in each division, and every contestant received a certificate for participating in the event. Prizes of $50 and $25 were awarded to the first and second place winners, respectively.
The prizes were generously provided by Crystal’s Day Care Center, Bill Wise Excavating, Dave Thomas LLC, and Shane’s Addiction. The judges for the evening were Pam Snyder, Mary Jane Kent, and Miss Leeann Danley.
Class of 2022 officers BreAnn Jackson, Kiley Meek, and Brooke Miller were the emcees for the evening.
Overall, there were 13 participating acts. Congratulations to the following winners: Youth Division – Jillissa Yeater, first place; Duncan Scott, second place; Junior Division – Noah Webster, first place; Payton Gilbert, second place; Senior Division – Noah Grimes, first place; McKayla and Megan Jacobs, second place. A great job to all participants, and thank you for making the show a success!
