The West Greene Envirothon class released the trout they have raised from eggs starting last November and culminating in their stocking into Meadow Run Thursday. Students visited the Ohiopyle falls, the new eco-friendly park visitor center, Cucumber falls, and Meadow run where they released trout, conducted a stream study, and participated in youth fishing.

West Greene’s participation in the Trout In the Classroom program was made possible through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU).
