Two of West Greene's top Career & Technology Center Culinary Arts students made it big recently! Well, maybe they just got to be a big part of something exciting! The Ice Plant Restaurant, owned by Ms. Garlick's sister Lisa, was invited to be featured on a episode of America's Best Restaurants. It was only fitting to include some of the CTC's best culinary students! Mr. Wagner, Culinary Instructor, Dylan Wilson and Harlan Bloom stepped in and worked alongside The Ice Plant staff and performed as if they had worked there for years. When the episode airs, watch as Dylan takes the role as the head cook and prepares one of the restaurants most popular meals. Harlan can be found leading the salad prep area. Both Dylan and Harlan did an amazing job and we are so proud of them!

It seems there was a mistake and the post about elementary instrument rental night didn't make it to social media. If you didn't know about it or were unable to attend, and your child (5th or 6th grade) is interested in participating in the elementary band, please have them see Mr. Bruno and he will give them a form that can be filled out. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or send him and email.
