CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - ELLA GRACE SCOTT. Ella is a member of National Honor Society (President), Science Club, Ski Club and FFA. She participates in Softball (3 year letter) and Volleyball (1 year letter). In her free time, Ella enjoys hanging out with friends, playing tennis with friends and photography. After graduation, Ella plans to attend WVU majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Environmental Science.

In his free time, Dylan enjoys cooking, fishing, video games, reading and DnD. After graduation, Dylan plans to attend Westmoreland County Community College and pursue and Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and to apprentice with Nemacolin Woodlands. CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - NEVAEH DEANE VEDIS. Nevaeh is a member of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), HOPE Squad, FFA and Ski Club. In her free time, she enjoys working on vehicles, working out and exploring . After graduation, Nevaeh plans to attend Triangle Techs welding classes for 2 years then travel as a welder. She participates in Basketball and Volleyball . In her free time, Kasie enjoys spending time with friends and family . In his free time, he enjoys walking in the woods, hanging with friends and going on driving adventures. After graduation, Jacob plans to attend Penn West California for Early Childhood Education . CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - BRIAN ANDREW JACKSON. Brian is an honor roll student and President of the Class of 2024. He is the baseball team manager and was a captain and 4 year letterman of the varsity football team, a 3 year letterman of the track and field team and a letterman of the varsity wrestling squad. He is a member of the Student Government Association, Calculus Club, Vice President of the National Honor Society, Vice President of the Science Club, Second Vice President of the West Greene FFA and participates on the Quiz Bowl team. Brian Andrew is also a West Greene Lion’s Club outstanding student. He is an active member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church. Brian plans to attend Waynesburg
University and major in education. Congratulations Brian Andrew and good luck in all your future endeavors.

Students with speaking parts in the Elementary Spring Music Program will be staying after school on Wednesday, May 8, until 5:30 PM. They can be picked up using the main entrance of the MSHS as we will be working in the auditorium.
Over the past few years, West Greene Aquaponics students take care of Trout from January till May. During this time, our students are responsible for creating a habitat for the trout to grow in. After all the hard work these same students release the trout in Ohiopyle State Park, where these fish will continue to grow and contribute to the local ecosystem. Lastly, our students got to explore Ohiopyle State Park looking at wildlife interactions and watershed interactions. This is all made possible by West Greene’s participation in the Trout in the Classroom program made possible through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU).
CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - JOHNATHAN DALE GARBER. Johnathan likes to hunt and fish in his free time. He attends the Greene County Career and Technology Center (CTC). After graduation, he plans to go to school for welding. Congratulations Johnathan and good luck in all your future endeavors.
